naturbo flank insulation | 1001-19 |
Description
- Vapour diffusion-open interior insulation board with clay plaster
- 4 mm clay plaster
- 20 mm wood soft fibre board (DIN EN 13171)
Scope of application
For planking the flanks of the inner sides of external walls and window recesses, also in damp rooms (bath, shower, toilet) except in the immediate splash water area. Not suitable for cladding exterior walls (please use naturbo interior insulation board for this purpose)
Processing
The boards are glued full-faced to the wall using the butterfly method. Make sure that the ground connection is good. For higher load requirements, additional mechanical fastening with dowels is necessary.
Use in timber construction only after consultation.

The naturbo insulation board is part of the naturbo interior insulation system in dry construction. To use it you need other products from the naturbo range.
Important note
Despite the naturbo system's generally high tolerance to fluctuations in heat and cold at different levels of humidity, we as manufacturers must point out the following points:
- Individual cases may vary
What generally appears to be harmless, can nevertheless lead to problems in specific individual cases. As manufacturer of the naturbo interior insulation system we do not know your building site. Therefore we cannot assume any liability that the naturbo interior insulation system is a suitable solution in your special individual case. - Specialist
For this reason, we strongly recommend that the interior insulation is carried out with professional, expert advice. It is the task of the expert to assess the building structure, including the condition of the façade, from the point of view of building physics, and on this basis to determine the structure of the interior insulation. - Careful processing
Furthermore, the careful processing of the naturbo interior insulation system is crucial to ensure that no problems arise later. In particular, the ground connection between panels and wall, the full-surface installation of the interior insulation and the avoidance of cold bridges through flank insulation must be taken into account. Exceptions must be assessed by a specialist. - Ventilation
In order to prevent damage later, it is also recommended that rooms with naturbo interior insulation are ventilated regularly and sensibly. Severe deficiencies in ventilation can at some point lead to problems or even damage, even with naturbo interior insulation system.
Ultimately, every tradesman or building owner must decide for themselves who plans the interior insulation and who carries it out. We would just like to emphasize that we as manufacturer cannot take any responsibility for professional planning and professional installation.
