Material requirements for wall heating

Wall heating and ceiling heating for healthy warmth

The surface area required for naturbo therm wall heating depends on the required heat output. The following three factors play a decisive role in the calculation of requirements:

  • Room area
  • Room volume
  • Insulation standard

While room area and room volume are easy to determine, the insulation standard usually raises questions. As a rule, 25-50 % of the floor space is required as heating area. The remaining areas are then supplemented with naturbo clima (standard panel of the same thickness without wall heating).

The naturbo therm wall heating provides a heating output of 110 W/m² at 20 °C room temperature and 40 °C flow temperature
