Breathable – without steam barriers/brakes

Who likes to live in the plastic bag? The naturbo interior insulation system is deliberately designed in such a way that it can do without steam barriers and steam brakes. This is possible for the following reasons:

• Clay plaster is an excellent moisture buffer.
• Soft wood fibreboards and clay plaster are highly capillary conductive.
• The thickness of the insulation board was deliberately chosen with 60 mm. With this strength, there are virtually no structural problems.

This means that the prerequisites are that any thawing water (= condensation water) is stored in the insulation and in the clay plaster, then distributed over the entire surface and finally evaporated into the room.

Exact compliance with the processing requirements is essential.
